Kony on 102 Mega Fm

102 Mega FM is a community Radio station based in Northern Uganda, came on air in October 2002. The mystery of the Lord Resistance Army commander chief was first broken by 102 mega fm when he called in one of the talk show programmes on 28th. December the same year.

‎102 Mega Fm has been outstanding in providing a boulevard for communication between the government, opposition politicians, LRA and the wanahichi as a consequence, build the trust and confidence amidst them aimed at increasing opportunities for engagement in peace building and development.

It is no wonder that most people in Northern Uganda are glued to 102 Mega FM for better information and entertainment.

Col. Walter Ochora Odoch in New York.

In April 25th, New Yorkers gathered with Invisible Children's co-founder Lauren Poole and Col. Walter Ochora Odoch for an overnight worldwide rally on behalf of the abducted child soldiers of Uganda and the Congo. The international event, which took place in over 100 cities worldwide, included a symbolic march, a letter writing campaign, and overnight campout. The New York Event began at City Hall, after which rescuers marched across the Brooklyn Bridge and camped the night at Fulton Ferry State Park.
